info: gist
For generations the world has been
wired and sensed for its natural phenomena and with large volumes
of audio and image data being available on the Intermet. In my
work, summarized below, I'm evolving onthrough these soundworks-from
archives- to underscore my need for realtime access to these resources
and further suggest that routine web2 listening be oncall as realtime
extraterrestrial and earthly phenomena "soundtracks."
Revisited sounds reinvigorate the present. The melding of natural
energies is a satisfying human experience. The temporality inherent
in wind-witnessing relies on the voltages from physical nature's
realtime processes to offer this inclusive connection. An undeniably
personal possession. Long term memory sources could be encountered,
"archived" personally and also, possibly, backed up
by machine storaging.
